During seasons of protracted fastings, I am often escorted by the Spirit through prayers and intercessions (in a language and dialect that can only be defined as tongues and divers tongues), manifested in supplications, deep intercessions, groanings, and travails, and for this purpose, to a realm of past knowledge and hidden mysteries. I experience a deep humility, a reverential fear, an unrestrained vulnerability, a transparency, a voluntary exposure, where I am naked and not ashamed. When in this place, I’m easily led by the Spirit to places that at other times would be most difficult to access, places I am even forbidden to go into alone – we must be carried by the Holy Spirit.
Once this voluntary submission to the Holy Spirit has occurred, you are now totally under His power, totally under siege. You are now experiencing a manifestation of the scripture that says, “ye are not your own.” 1 Corinthians 6:19 The only cognizant participation that you are aware of is that you have intentionally, voluntarily submitted – you trust. After this degree of submission has occurred, there is no objection to, nor refusal of, the Spirit’s manifestation of utterance, administration, and the time needed (which is of paramount importance). You have been completely overcome by His power to pray what the situation necessitates.
It is now that places that are dark, foreboding, cold, isolated, inhabited by the ghosts and phantoms of memories and experiences, years and decades past – even in utero (My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Psalm 139:15) – are now revealed.
The knowledge of the secrets of the subconscious is made known. (I am in receipt of some revelations that I cannot now release.) We know assuredly that there is no place that the enemy can prohibit or forbid our entrance or exit. The stone is rolled away! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
The secrets of the neglect, abuses, denials, and rejections, hidden and lodged in the crevices of the subconscious, have accumulated from years of such experiences. The maladies and the deformities of the mind, if allowed to reside, now manifest themselves in the mind internally by creating strong delusionary, perverted thinking. They metastasize externally, through sickness and disease as its expression in the physical body. They cannot exist in the mind without eventually manifesting in the body.
These places are strongholds, guarded by forces usually of our own making, that only can be cast out by the One greater than he (1 John 4:4), to bring deliverance and to secure victory.
While praying in these areas you feel defended and protected, but you are also strongly aware of the Father’s love, mercy, compassion, and power to restore, to heal, and to make every wit whole. I believe these kinds of healings can take place only with protracted fastings.
Exhausted after this time of prayer and revelation, I cannot at this time finish this entry. I feel led to retire and I will resume our conversation tomorrow.
